Caporale Family Tree Version 2 launched!

Welcome to the new and revised family tree site that I have created. I am still in the process of importing user accounts from the last version so if you do not have an account here please contact me or request a new account.

About this site:

This site is labeled as the "Caporale Family Tree". Why is it named that? The best answer I can give is because that is my surname and I can not think of a concise name that encompasses all the families and surnames contained in this database.

Everyone in this database is related to someone else either by blood or marriage. In some circumstances where a divorce has occurred there may be no official ties between one particular family and another, however there may have been a lot of time spent consolidating family information ‎(by myself or others)‎ so I wanted to maintain those records for the convenience of those families.

All personal information is restricted from public viewing and you must be IN the database to be able to view your information as well as anyone you are related to. To be "in" the database means that I have been able to place you somewhere in which you are directly tied to a person already in the database. For example, you may have Googled your grandfather's name and found results on this site. To be able to view the records related to this person you will need to request an account, and it will have to be placed in the appropriate location ‎(as the grandchild of person you are researching, for example)‎. This is to protect private family information and maintain a degree of discretion as to who can view details about the individuals contained in this database.
